As an Early Learning Assistant Educator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment while partnering with lead educators to deliver meaningful learning experiences that promote lifelong learning in young children.
Role and Responsibilities:
In this position, you will support classroom teaching and daily routines to maintain a structured, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will work alongside lead teachers to implement lesson plans, facilitate activities, and ensure children are cared for in a safe and engaging setting.
• Support the execution of age-appropriate lesson plans and early childhood learning activities
• Assist lead teachers in delivering interactive and hands-on educational experiences
• Prepare and organize classroom materials, supplies, and activity stations
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being
• Observe and document children’s behavior, growth, and developmental milestones
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe classroom environment at all times
• Encourage positive behavior and support children’s social and emotional development
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and staff to ensure consistent classroom operations
Required Skills and Experience:
• High School Diploma required
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early education environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based classroom setting
• Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach when working with young children
• Ability to prioritize child safety and follow established classroom routines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in early childhood education or childcare-related roles
• Background in customer service, healthcare, or child-centered environments
• Knowledge of early childhood development practices
• Interest in ongoing professional growth within education and childcare
Compensation and Benefits:
• Hourly pay range: USD $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
