What Youll Need to Succeed:
• Two years of college credits from an accredited institution, OR
• An associate degree or higher, OR
• A passing score on an approved formal academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), OR
• Meet the competencies outlined in the MDE approved competency grid
• PCA certificate (or willingness to obtaintraining is free and takes less than an hour)
• Readiness to submit credentials, transcripts, or assessment proof with your application
• Availability to attend a mandatory orientation held on Wednesdays at 1:30pm
Role Responsibilities:
• Support students in the focus program, providing guidance and encouragement
• Work closely with educators to implement learning strategies and behavior plans
• Assist with daily classroom operations and help foster a positive atmosphere
• Adapt support to meet individual students needs, particularly those with unique challenges
• Participate in year-round assignments, collaborating with a dynamic team
