Join our dynamic team as an Education Specialist responsible for providing specialized academic instruction (SAI) for students with disabilities. As a vital part of our educational framework, you will manage a diverse caseload, including the scheduling and facilitation of IEP meetings.
Your role will involve:
• Delivering specialized academic services tailored to a range of grade levels (TK-5, 6-8, or 9-12).
• Conducting SAI classes and providing supportive services within general education settings that align with students' individualized goals.
• Utilizing a variety of communication platforms like video conferencing, phone calls, and instant messaging to engage with students and families.
• Participating in in-person meetings and trainings throughout the school year.
• Taking part in state testing at a location near your residence when required.
Qualifications:
• Must reside in California.
• Hold a valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities or new Mild/Moderate Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs.
• Possess California English Learner Authorization to effectively teach ELL students.
