Job Description

Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with a parent within the opening moments of a call. This position suits someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a non-traditional learning model without depending on scripts. If phone-based conversations feel draining or you prefer environments without measurable performance indicators, this role will not align with your strengths.

Novatio School operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school with a distinct educational framework. Students move through core academics in a condensed time block with AI-supported instruction, then dedicate the remainder of their day to real-world skill development through projects and enrichment activities. You will serve as the primary connection point for families considering this alternative.

Your weekly routine will center on responding promptly to new inquiries, walking families through each stage of the admissions journey, and advancing them from curiosity to completed enrollment. You will also attend local events on behalf of Novatio School to cultivate new interest and raise visibility within your region. During quieter enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next admissions cycle.

If you are looking for a position where your communication discipline, reliability, and accountability directly shape student enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.

What you will be doing
• Reaching out to new inbound leads within a 24-hour window and starting admissions discussions via phone
• Presenting Novatio School's virtual structure and enrollment process using straightforward, accessible language
• Maintaining steady follow-up to advance families from initial inquiry through application and into enrollment
• Recording every interaction in a CRM system with detailed notes, planned next steps, and current pipeline status
• Planning and facilitating local recruitment activities in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and collect prospective family information

What you will NOT be doing
• Allowing inbound inquiries to remain unaddressed while managing paperwork or administrative duties
• Relying on inflexible scripts or functioning within a high-volume transactional call environment
• Participating in events as a passive observer rather than an active presenter and lead generator
• Dedicating most of your hours to internal tasks when active enrollment demand requires your attention
• Key Responsibilities
• Transform incoming family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment at Novatio School.
• Candidate Requirements
• * Located in Texas or Arizona with availability for a hybrid work arrangement
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service or a similar role involving direct client interaction
• Background working with children or families (such as schools, camps, childcare, tutoring, or comparable settings)
• At ease making regular phone calls and supporting families through processes with multiple stages
• Effective verbal communication abilities with a talent for quickly establishing trust
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms or digital systems for managing and tracking leads
• Nice to have
• * Prior experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or lead qualification functions
• History of organizing or presenting at community outreach events or programs
• Academic background or coursework in communications, education, or a closely related discipline
• This position is also known as:
• * Enrollment Specialist
• Family Engagement Coordinator
• Education Outreach Coordinator
• Admissions Representative
