Copilot Careers is currently seeking Temporary Teaching Aide for immediate placement across multiple school districts. In this role, you will assist classroom instructors and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment so students continue receiving academic guidance throughout the day.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Temporary Teaching Aide, you support a structured classroom environment when the regular educator is away. Your duties involve helping with instruction, assisting in daily routines, and keeping students engaged so learning continues without disruption.
• Help students remain focused on assigned tasks and reinforce classroom expectations.
• Provide academic support by answering questions and offering guidance on classwork.
• Encourage respectful behavior and contribute to a safe, supportive classroom community.
• Follow teacher plans and assist with scheduled instructional activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, hallways, or school events as needed.
• Organize materials, prepare classroom resources, and support general instructional needs.
• Assist students with special needs under teacher or administrator direction.
• Report concerns, incidents, or injuries to the designated school staff.
• Perform additional duties assigned to help maintain efficient school operations.

Required Skills and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with students or in a school setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain classroom order and support a positive learning atmosphere.
• Patience, flexibility, and confidence working with diverse student groups.
• Basic understanding of classroom routines and instructional assistance.
• Compassion and commitment to helping students succeed academically and socially.
• Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Successful background check and criminal history clearance required.
