Salary Range and Requirements***
HS Diploma / Temporary Substitute License - $40,000
HS Diploma / Temporary Substitute License - With 1 year classroom teaching experience verification on OH/ID. $45,000 - $50,000
Bachelor / General Substitute License- $45,000
Bachelor / General Substitute License-With 1 year classroom teaching experience verification on OH/ID. $50,000 -$52,000
RESA License- $52,000 - $55,045
5 Year Professional License - $54,000 plus
Masters Degree and Endorsements add $2,000 - $3,000 to the salary totals.
Our organization is looking for an experienced and creative Elementary School Teacher who can implement a hands-on curriculum to effectively engage students in the classroom. We want an educator with extensive teaching experience who can motivate and inspire students and encourage healthy communication between parents and teachers. The right candidate will possess a strong background in education and be able to work well with a team of other educators to ensure that the classroom environment is always organized and secure.
Responsibilities:
• Use technology to enhance student learning.
• Work with other teachers via email and in person to work on projects and curriculum.
• Be able to manage a classroom full of children.
• Ensure the health, safety and well-being of children in the classroom.
• Use classroom management techniques to ensure a positive environment for learning.
• Manage discipline issues in the classroom.
Qualifications
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience in literacy and math education
• Proven ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Background in early childhood education and childhood development
• Familiarity with special education practices and learning technology
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, including those with autism
• Experience in tutoring and mentoring students
• Knowledge of standardized testing and curriculum development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,500.00 per year
