Job Description
The Lilypad Nursery and Garden School is looking for a highly qualified, energetic teacher to love, nurture, care for and teach our students aging from infants to 2 years old. Strong skills in classroom management and teaching is required. We are currently looking for a 7:30am-4:30pm and a 9:00am-6:00pm full time shift and 12:20 to 6:30 part time shift. Job duties include:
• Planning developmentally appropriate activities
• Teaching in a fun and engaging way using songs, interactive games and hands on activities
• Compliance with state health/safety standards
• Routine chores to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Providing a loving and nurturing environment
• Communicating with parents effectively regarding the well being and care of their child through frequent verbal and electronic communication
All Lead Teacher applicants must have at least two years experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting.
Opportunities for pay increase are considered at 90 days based on performance and excellent attendance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
