Duties
• Supervise students during recess periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Facilitate positive interactions among children, promoting respectful communication and teamwork
• Manage conflicts or behavioral issues using effective conflict management and behavior management techniques
• Support students in engaging in inclusive play activities, encouraging participation from all children
• Enforce school rules and safety protocols consistently and fairly
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to address individual student needs, especially those requiring special education support
• Maintain open communication with students, staff, and parents regarding student behavior or safety concerns
Requirements
• Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations; First aid certification is preferred but not required
• Experience supporting students with special education needs is a plus
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, staff, and parents
• Demonstrated classroom experience or teaching background is advantageous
• Passion for working with students and creating a safe, inclusive environment

Pay: $14.99 - $25.96 per hour
Work Location: In person
