• *Candidate must have a proven record of at least 3 years experience as a leader for a school as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Administrator, or in a top level leadership position. Administrative level leadership for an elementary school is strongly preferred. This experience must have been within the last five years**

Dean of Academics, School Administrator - Job Description

The Dean of Academics is a results-driven instructional leader responsible for advancing school-wide academic excellence through the strategic alignment of curriculum, data-driven interventions, and faculty development. This role requires a high-impact administrator who can effectively bridge classroom instruction and institutional goals, serving as both a primary coach to teachers and a key member of the leadership team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of improving student achievement across grade levels, with the ability to analyze complex performance data and implement targeted growth strategies. Proven success in school leadership roles such as principal, assistant principal, dean, or school administrator is required.

This individual will inspire and support staff while leading strategic initiatives that foster a thriving, high-performing school environment.

Dean of Academics, School Administrator - Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree Required (Masters strongly preferred)
• Clear CA Multiple Subject Credential or Administrative Services Credential strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a school administrator, principal, assistant principal, or leader for a K-12 school Required (elementary school leadership experience strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of instructional leadership
• Knowledge of academic improvement
• Knowledge of administrative management

Schedule: M-F 7:30 PM-4:15 PM (4:30 PM on select days), some evening events

Position: Full Time

Salary: $95,000-$135,000 a year
