Role and Responsibilities:
As a Child Care Center Teacher at KinderCare, you will play an important role in each child’s learning journey, helping them reach developmental milestones while maintaining a welcoming, safe classroom where curiosity and growth can flourish. You will also work together with families and fellow educators to provide a high-quality early education experience.
• Follow KinderCare’s curriculum and adjust instruction to suit the developmental needs of each child.
• Create and maintain a classroom environment that is safe, engaging, and supportive.
• Develop positive, professional relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
• Partner with parents to encourage continued learning and development at home.
• Assist with center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
• Maintain compliance with KinderCare policies and state licensing regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong customer service skills, solid organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet state qualification requirements or be willing to complete necessary steps to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to become certified.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds, participate in indoor and outdoor activities, and physically engage with children.
• Clear and effective communication in English with children and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility through NAEYC standards.
• Two to three years of early childhood education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• State-approved trainer status (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits:
