School Floater

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The School Floater will be responsible for assisting teachers across multiple classrooms, ensuring student safety, and supporting daily activities. Duties include helping with classroom transitions, maintaining a clean and organized learning environment, supervising children during playtime, and assisting with lessons and activities as needed. Strong teamwork and flexibility are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications
• Classroom Support: Ability to assist teachers with lesson execution, support transitions between activities, and provide personalized attention to students as needed.
• Child Supervision and Engagement: Demonstrated skills in supervising children during playtime, maintaining a safe environment, and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
• Organizational and Sanitation Skills: Experience in keeping classroom spaces clean, organized, and aligned with school policies.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team with teachers, students, and parents.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt to changing needs and assist across various classrooms as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an educational or childcare setting is beneficial. Familiarity with the Montessori method is an asset. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
