Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, located in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time contract position involves providing comprehensive OT support within multiple school settings, focusing on both elementary and high school students, as well as supporting an off-campus Autism program.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services across two elementary schools and one high school.

• Manage a caseload of approximately 11-12 students per elementary school and 17-18 students at the high school.

• Provide consultations and collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized strategies.

• Support the district's specialized Autism program by assisting with targeted interventions.

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.

• Demonstrated experience working within school environments.

• Strong understanding of pediatric OT services, including working with diverse student populations.

• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple locations within the district.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively consult with educators and support staff.
