An opportunity is available for an Elementary Special Education Teacher to provide push-in services for 4th and 5th-grade students in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time contract position involves working 40 hours per week in an elementary school setting, supporting students with special needs in inclusive classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) within the general education classroom
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement lesson modifications and accommodations
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student development
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs
Qualifications:
• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification is required
• Candidates holding an emergency Special Education Certification will be considered
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 4-5) preferred
