At Talk Dutch Today , we work with international professionals who need to use Dutch in real life , not just understand it. We are looking for a freelance Dutch teacher (remote) to join our team. You will be joining a small, growing team within a developing language platform focused on practical, high-quality Dutch training for internationals and professionals. Start: onboarding and training in Q2 2026 Target availability: around 10-16 hours per week after training, with growth potential Focus : 1-on-1 lessons (A0–A2), with the opportunity to grow into B1, B2, and corporate training depending on performance and experience Location: fully remote What Makes This Role Different We do not rely on standard textbook teaching. We train students through: structured roleplay high speaking intensity guided correction You will be trained in the Talk Dutch Today Method and supported throughout your development. What We Are Looking For We are selective on purpose. Because this role requires consistency, patience, and genuine attention for the student. This role is less about being the “perfect teacher” and more about how you work with people . Empathy : you understand student hesitation and respond calmly Patience : you can explain and guide without frustration Reliability : you show up prepared and consistent Coachability : you are open to feedback and structured methods Cultural awareness : you are comfortable working with international professionals and adjust your communication to different cultural backgrounds Requirements Certified Dutch teacher, preferred Fluent Dutch Available for around 10-16 hours per week after onboarding Professional remote setup Experience is a plus, but not the deciding factor.
