Job Description: Educational Leader
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educational leader to join our team at a private Christian school. This role offers a unique opportunity to guide and support both students and staff while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment rooted in Christian values. As an integral part of the school leadership team, you will take on key responsibilities that influence the growth and success of both individuals and the school community, ensuring that all decisions are aligned with our faith-based mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Summer Camp Leadership: Lead school field trips and ensure the summer camp program is running efficiently and effectively.
• Student Support and Development: Champion the academic and personal growth of all students by implementing strategies that address diverse needs and promote equity, inclusion, and social-emotional well-being, all while nurturing their spiritual development through faith-based teachings.
• Disciplinary Oversight: Address student behavior issues by creating a supportive approach to discipline that emphasizes restorative practices, fairness, and accountability, while promoting the principles of Christian compassion and forgiveness.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families, community members, and stakeholders, emphasizing open communication and shared responsibility for student success, all within the context of a Christian community.
• School Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, resource management, and the effective use of school facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment that supports both academic excellence and Christian values.
• Crisis Management: Lead and manage in times of crisis, providing support and clear direction to ensure the safety and well-being of the school community, all while upholding Christian principles of care and compassion.
Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably within a Christian environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive school culture that reflects the values of the Christian faith.
• A passion for student success, with a commitment to creating an environment where all students can thrive academically and spiritually.
