We are currently looking for a Part-Time Teacher Assistant & Floater to join our team. This position is ideal for someone flexible, responsible, and passionate about working with young children.
This role involves supporting lead teachers in the classroom and stepping in as a floater or substitute when needed. The goal is to ensure continuity in the classroom and provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities
• Assist in the supervision and care of children
• Step in as a floater to support different classrooms as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Help with transitions, routines, and classroom management
• Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Experience working with children (preferred)
• Flexible and adaptable schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Responsible, punctual, and proactive attitude
Additional Information:
• Part-time position
• Starting at $16/hour (depending on qualifications)
• This role is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for future needs
