Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will focus on enhancing students' academic achievements while promoting their personal development. Your responsibilities will include providing support in the classroom, offering one-on-one tutoring, and acting as a mentor to students, all aimed at achieving positive academic outcomes.
• Offer individualized tutoring and small group support in subjects like math, reading, and science.
• Demonstrate positive behaviors and essential social-emotional skills to support student growth.
• Build trust-based relationships with students to help improve both their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify student needs, track progress, and apply effective support strategies.
• Create and implement strategies to improve student engagement and academic performance.
• Track and analyze student progress using data, adjusting instructional plans as needed to ensure success.

Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in educational or mentorship roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and deliver individualized academic support.
• Commitment to advancing student success and promoting educational equity.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in tutoring or mentoring within an educational environment.
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting diverse learning needs and fostering social-emotional development.
• Experience using data to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
