Have fun teaching after-school enrichment classes to groups of elementary school kids! Afterschool Enrichment Solutions was founded in 2001 as an after-school chess club. Today we work with thousands of schools and provide a wide array of programming to over 30,000 students.
We are looking to fill instructor openings for our Spanish enrichment classes near
Baltimore, MD 21229.
We offer fall, winter, spring and summer assignments. This is a part-time, mid-afternoon, contract position. No teaching degree required - your energy and passion to work with children is most important. An ideal candidate has excellent classroom management.
Every instructor will have to clear a rigorous criminal background check. Reliable transportation is required. This is a part-time, 1099 position.
Expectations:
• Proficient in Spanish
• Must have experience working with children in a group setting
• Must arrive to class at least 15-minutes prior to start
• Payments are issued on a monthly basis, following month of service, i.e. February classes are issued in March, on or before the 21st of the month
• Must communicate behavioral concerns to scheduling manager
• Must clear a background check
• Must complete a W-9, this is a contract position
• All materials needed for class will be available on-site
• Programs are held at an elementary school, after regular school hours
