Responsibilities:
• Design curriculum and teach sections of Technical Theater, Acting, and/or Film for upper school students.
• Direct school theater productions which may include overseeing selection, casting, rehearsals, and performance.
• Oversee technical elements of theatrical productions, including lighting, sound, projections, and basic stage operations.
• Train and mentor student staff for theatrical productions.
• Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.
• Assess students’ artistic, academic, and social development through ongoing observation, written evaluations, and performance-based assessments.
• Ensure the safe and smooth operation of the performing arts spaces.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and arts staff to support school programs.
• Communicate student progress and behavior to parents and guardians.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Oversee annual budget ensuring strategic allocation of resources.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred.
• Ability to teach both Theater and Film strongly preferred.
• Creative mindset when developing curriculum for Theater, Technical Theater, and Film courses.
• Experience creating and teaching choreography for K-12 students.
• Experience working with students in grades K-12.
• Extensive knowledge of theater, technical theater, and film.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
