Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite special education teaching opportunity is available in Chicago, IL, serving elementary-level students. This contract position emphasizes support within early childhood, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classrooms. There are three openings, each focused on providing specialized educational services tailored to individual student needs.
The ideal candidates will hold a current LBS1 license and Professional Educator License (PEL). One position is designated for early childhood and requires an ECE endorsement on the LBS1 certification. Experience in special education at the elementary level is essential for success in these roles.
Key Qualifications:
• Valid LBS1 license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• ECE endorsement on LBS1 for the early childhood position
• Expertise in special education for kindergarten through 2nd grade
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEP) and inclusive teaching strategies

Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored instruction in special education classrooms for early childhood to 2nd grade students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
