OFFICE COORDINATOR - COMMUNITY SCHOOLS - CFSD
Hiring Pay Rate: $19.23 - $20.41 per hour, DOE.
Range 30
FTE: 1.0 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (includes 30 minute unpaid meal break)
261 days per year 12 Months

Definition:
Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty coordinating and providing administrative support to Community Schools CARE Program, Kinder Plus Program and other programs as assigned.
Essential Functions:

Tasks:
Maintain databases and spreadsheets and generate periodic reports.
Enter schedules into computer.
Register students into programs.
Generate attendance lists for school offices and sites.
Communicate changes in scheduling to schools/sites.
Calculate weekly numbers of enrollees.
Prepare word processing correspondence documents.
Answer calls regarding CARE, Kinder Plus and other Community Schools programs.
Route calls and take messages as needed.
Coordinate, copy and distribute periodic newsletters, fliers and mailings.
Maintain manual and automated filing systems.
Greet and direct visitors to appropriate person or place.
Serve as resource to students, staff and public.
Purchasing, including bulk shopping.
May drive to and purchase supplies at pre-approved stores.
Deliver supplies to sites.
Calculate fees from monthly/weekly calendars submitted by parents.
Monitor and track tuition payments and notify parents of unpaid balances.
Take charge of billing and collection of overdue accounts.
Total and transmit monies.
Maintain record of income.
Maintain tuition records for Kinder Plus including recording accounts, receipting and processing checks.
Monitor and track purchase orders and budget status and generate period reports.
Prepare and submit deposit transmittals.
Manage the storage and destruction of old files according to Arizona State Law.
Assume tasks, including other duties as assigned, by the CS Director and Executive Secretary.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of CFSD enrollment and residency rules and regulations
Knowledge of CFSD campus access rules and regulations.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Skill in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, administrators, students, parents and the general public.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of administrative experience.
Special Requirements:
Valid Arizona Driver's License and clear driving record.
